Winefest at St. Michaels - A Huge Success!

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of meeting so many new faces at the Winefest in St. Michaels. Thanks for those of you who stopped by our table to say hello and learn more about our business and our brand. And, thank you to those who took the time to visit the open houses at St. Michaels Pointe and at San Domingo Cove.

We couldn’t have ordered better weather for the opening day. On Saturday, the sun was shining and the temperature reached into the 70’s. People were everywhere! From the marina to the St. Michaels Winery, energetic event goers lined the streets with their glasses in hand. Talbot Street shops kept their doors open and most participated by offering food, spirits and special discounts. Vendors from all over the state were offering their wares – local honey, gourmet chocolate, shrimp wraps, jewelry, cutting boards, wine glass lanyards and more! There was something unique and fun for everyone!

The best part, in my opinion, was the exposure the little town of St. Michaels got over the weekend. If I heard it once, I heard it ten times, “This is my first time visiting St. Michaels… I love it here!” For most of us who know St. Michaels, that’s no surprise. The historic eastern shore charm that is found here is hard to resist. You’ll fall in love with it in just one visit.

If you missed the Winefest, the season is just starting. Plan a trip and come by boat or by land. Spend a day or a weekend. Maybe you too will want to call it home!

During your visit, make sure to stop by St. Michaels Pointe, for that low maintenance, in-town living which is perfect for a weekend home. Or, if it’s a water view and land your looking for, San Domingo Cove may be your thing. The views of the San Domingo Creek and resident wildlife are spectacular.
